I replaced my 11 year old Eureka for this Dirt Devil and it does not pick up ANYTHING!!! It blows dirt around and I am not at all happy with the performance. It is not as lightweight and easy to glide around as they claim. Investigate and find a better model.

I AM ADDING TO MY 2 OTHER REVIEWS.I NOW HAVE 3 DIRT DEVIL JAGUARS,DIRT DEVIL #7200 ,AND A SANITAIRE SC886.I LOVE MY JAGUARS.THEY ARE NOWHERE AS NICE A MY SANITAIRE SC886 BUT STILL WORK GREAT.I GAVE MY GIRLFRIEND A JAGUAR AND SHE LOVES IT TO.

My husband and I bought this for our first house - we have had it for 2 years now and ever since we purchased it there has been issues. The cord is right where the on/off button is and constantly turns itself on and off. I have 1 dog and 1 cat and it has smelled since day 1 like nasty rotten burnt pet hair, even when you change the bag! YUCK! The worst thing is that the suction is very poor, needless to say I am having to buy a new vacuum. My husbands grandmother's hand me down 15 - year - old Oreck XL vacuum was better than this!

I LOVE MY JAGUAR!!PLUS I GOT THE LAST ONE THERE.AND IT WAS ONLY $27.47!!I TOOK IT HOME AND ASSEMBLED IT.IT WAS SO EASY TO ASSEMBLE THAT I DIDN'T EVEN NEED THE MANUAL.IT WORKS PERFECT.THIS IS MY SECOND ONE.I ALSO HAVE THE BLUE FEATHERLITE SAME THING AS THE JAGUAR ONLY BLUE.IT DOESNT COME CLOSE TO MY SANITAIRE SC886 BUT ITS STILL VERY GOOD.BEST VALUE BUT YOU CANT FIND THEM ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY STOPPED MAKING THEM A FEW WEEKS AGO

I have only had this vaccuum 5 months and the motor burned up. It has always made a whining noise and does blow out too much dust. I knew it was the least expensive one in the store, but I did not know it was as good as throwing money in the trash.

I was shocked to see that the other 2 reviews were so negative. My dad bought this for me, when we had to fix my $300.00 vacuum for the umpteenth time. Our Dirt Devil is used daily and I have had not one problem with it at all. The assemply was simple and it was up and running in no time. Not only is it easy to carry up and down the stairs, my 8 year old loves to help with the cleaning and this vacuum makes it a cinch for him, it picks everything up in it's path, including the cat hair that falls from our long haired calico.
I would rec.this product to others, just as my dad had rec. to me.

I bought this vacuum because of it's inexpensive price. This doesn't pick up anything! It blew dust all over my house every time I vacuumed. I've had it for less than a year, and the motor completely blew out on it and it no longer works. The detachable parts break and are made of faulty plastic. I thought with dirt devil being a reputable company this vacuum would be good. I was wrong. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I wanted to buy an inexpensive vacuum for our first floor so I wouldn't have to haul our windtunnel up and down the stairs. This vacuum doesn't pick up anything! I am in the process of shopping for another vacuum and throwing this one in the trash!

In a marketplace where Electrolux sells $600 vacuums that last forever and Hoover and Eureka sell overpriced models with everything but the kitchen sink for $250, it's nice to see a company such as Dirt Devil selling a basic and LIGHTWEIGHT vacuum WITH hose & cleaning attachments at Target for less than $50. I own one of these affordable vacs and I'm ready to ditch my much heavier Hoover. In fact, my Hoover has broken belts several times and is constantly in need of repair. My Dirt Devil has never broken so much as a belt or the lamp on the front in 2 years of regular use. The bags are easy to replace and the product works as described. I challenge you to find a better daily use vacuum for less than Target offers their Dirt Devil Jaguar.
